This Privacy Policy explains how Solar Scouts Services, LLC, doing business as Haus Scouts ("Haus Scouts," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use hausscouts.com, our design services, and our text message program.

Information we collect

• Contact information you give us: name, email address, mobile phone number, and property ZIP code.
• Project information: your answers about the project, photos of your space, inspiration images, and any plans or documents you upload.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account and usage information: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and basic server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

• To produce and deliver your concept renderings, designer revisions, plans, and guides.
• To communicate with you about your project by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• To send marketing messages, only if you separately opt in to receive them.
• To process payments, provide customer support, and keep the site secure.

AI-assisted design

To create concept renderings, your project answers and photos are processed by AI service providers acting on our behalf (currently Anthropic and OpenAI). They process this information only to provide the service to us. A member of our team reviews renderings before they are sent to you.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business: hosting (Render), payments (Stripe), AI processing (Anthropic, OpenAI), and our customer relationship and messaging platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel). They may use the information only to provide services to us. If you ask us to connect you with a contractor for your project, we will share your project details with that contractor, with your permission. We may also disclose information if required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging (SMS)

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our Terms of Use for full text program terms.

How long we keep information

We keep your project files and account for as long as your account is active, so you can come back to your designs. You can ask us to delete your account and files at any time; we keep only what we must for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing info@hausscouts.com.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
• Stop text messages by replying STOP.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to project files, and reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
